Direct Payment

Save time & money with direct bill payment option

You can save time and money by paying your monthly electric bill automatically from a bank checking or savings account. And it's easy!

This method of electronically paying your bill is convenient because there is no check to write or payment to mail. Plus, it ensures you avoid late or lost payments.

You still will receive a monthly bill, which will state the date (approximately 20 days later) that the total due is deducted from your checking or statement savings account. (Sorry, not available for passbook savings.) At the bottom of the bill it will state the amount of your bill and the date it will be drafted from your account. Simply log the bill amount and draft date into your checkbook. Your bank account statements will reflect your electronic payment activity.

During the 20-day period you have time to contact us to resolve any billing questions you may have prior to the scheduled funds transfer date. We can stop the Direct Payment up to 2 days prior to the date funds are transferred.

Direct Payment is free and very reliable. It uses the same network used for direct deposits of payroll and Social Security benefits. Funds are electronically transferred from your bank accounts to our corporate bank account by way of the nationwide Automated Clearing House (ACH) network.
